Aquarius Season

If you have ever worked with me you know I am all about energy. I want to understand it. I want to know how to use it and I want to identify how it’s differentiated through rhythm and frequency.

The way that I look at the astrological signs and cycles is from the vantage point of it’s relationship to energetic forces. Forces within each of us, and forces from the cosmos.

Aquarius brings out the eccentric, visionary and unpredictable. It not only questions outdated beliefs it calls for a new way of looking at the world and demands solutions from a problem-centric society. Described as radical, the vibration of Aquarius invites us to see situations from different vantage points. Can you look beyond your belief systems and try on a new set of thoughts?

Each of us will align and have a different relationships with Aqua sensibilities depending on our own astrological chart. At the core though, the theme of Aquarius season is question everything.

It’s important to point out that as you question the world through your own filter remember that you have a filter! Through mindful observation can you experience an opening from the perspective of pure curiosity? Are you able relinquish your judgement and foregone conclusions?

In the Tarot Deck, Aquarius is indicated by the Star Card. Hope and renewal are often indicated with this card. It’s a deeper hope. Hope in humanity, hope in the future, hope for realizations and more profound understanding of the connection that we have to one another and the cosmos. It gives us permission to envision something better, an evolution to the next level of our shared experience.

The Star is naked and vulnerable. She understands the value of showing up just as you are and as she unabashedly delivers the water she bears to nurture the earth. She invites you to do the same.

In what veils have you been shrouded? How is that holding you back? What would it take for you to let go of fear and rise into the truth of who you are and give from that space?

Let the Star guide you to your own shine. Your very own inner light will nourish your life through the natural act of just being you.

As we move into this new sign keep in mind that Mercury will retrograde on January 30th and won’t come direct until the 20th of February so harnessing the energy of this Aquarius season will require you to be a bit more contemplative than usual.

You may find yourself going into deep assessment about what worked in the past and what you no longer want to hold onto. Be patient with yourself and remember the value of the pause. It allows you to find more meaning and act from a level of awareness that you have never experienced before, which is what Aquarius is all about!
