As an astrology enthusiast (and a lover of all things magical), and as an Aquarius myself, I’m especially excited about this new moon on Feb 9, 2024. It’s is poised to be powerful.
Astrologers share this new moon is the first of its kind in our lifetime because Pluto just moved into Aquarius (the last time it was there was 248 years ago) so the intentions we set now will set a foundation for what we’ll create for the next 20 years.
Aquarius, the water-bearer of the zodiac, brings with it a wave of innovation, freedom, and humanitarian spirit. It’s all about breaking free from the norm, embracing our uniqueness, and championing causes that ignite our passions and stir our hearts. We find the truth in the heart and the nature of Aquarius always points to truth.
This New Moon invites us to tap into the parts of us that aren’t afraid to rebel against our own fears, biases and assumptions. It says, “Are you sure that’s true for you?” It requires self-reflection, and candor. It will call out anything counter to that.
We know that the New Moon is a potent time for setting intentions, planting seeds of desire, and getting clear about the actions we need to take to make our dreams a reality. With Aquarius at the helm, we’re encouraged to think outside the box and envision a future that is unconventional. We are invited to ask ourselves what does convention mean and how has it played out in my life?
How can I actually “think outside the box”?
Thinking outside the box for me means that I’m becoming more aware of my own belief systems. Do I actually really believe them or am I playing a role of “shoulds.”
What do I truly align with as a belief verses what I have been told to believe? What have held as truth – but with introspection I find it’s actually not true for me? The more intentional I am, the more aware become. Then I am living a conscious life day-to-day, instead of playing out patterns that I’m not truly aligned with at the level of my heart.
This new moon is an invitation for you to go deeper into how you want to be in in this fast evolving world.
We are in the age of Aquarius and this type of cosmic environment demands more from us. It pulls us to a deeper sincerity as we question how we want our lives to play out for the service of the greatest good. It’s not just about “me” it’s about the whole of humanity. This requires us to carve our own unique path, and It requires a knowing of self, beyond any external gaze. It doesn’t have time to dilly dally either! It’s time to trust your own inner knowing and act from that space in small and big ways. Trust that you are the gift!
