The last full moon of 2019 will occur early on Thursday 12|12|19 at 12:12 AM EST.

Because it’s the last full moon of the decade, if you follow numerology and | or astrology you already know, this is a cosmically potent day.

I am not an astrologer nor a numerologist, however, I appreciate both of these modalities and align with the teachings so I’m going to my best to explain what all of this means from my perspective of energy.

We understand that a full moon is the illumination of the moon by the sun so what was dark has moved into the light to be revealed. That’s why it’s an opportune time to let go of what needs to be released. Notice also what is being brought to light during this time.

The full moon is shining the light on the shadow of the dual two-sidedness of Gemini in the 8th house. This will affect all of us a little differently, depending on where Gemini and the moon fall in our personal astrology.

Generally speaking though, this illumination shows us where the contrast is, especially when it comes to the deepest aspects of our psyche. It begs us to let go of the self-destructive doubt we have been carrying. Our “old ways” of being no longer work and the side of us that has been holding us back demands to be shed now so we can move into the side of us that feels empowered.

Are you feeling dissatisfaction, frustration, and instability in any areas of your life? Right now is the time to recognize that those feelings are pointing you toward the future.

All that healing that we’ve been doing? Well, it’s time to be healed now. It’s time to burn away the last residuals of regret, blame, shame, and guilt. Holding onto these patterns doesn’t make sense anymore so it’s time to stop revisiting the stories and let them go.

The buzzer has sounded and it’s time for final answers. We need to know now that the answers are really (yes, really) within us. If you’re the one who keeps putting off stepping into your greatness you better get on board and release those beliefs that have trapped you.

This full Moon in Gemini shows up demanding change and rejoicing in spontaneity so even if you don’t feel ready – IT IS TIME – do whatever it takes to make a stand for the life that you have decided you want to live.

Finalize your long-term projects and finish what you’ve started. It’s time to get busy! Yes, you need to meet that deadline – work until it’s finished.

There may be this urgent and sudden awareness that it’s time to stop playing small. If you have been disappointing yourself you need to step into your ALLness. You have what it takes to experience everything you want. You KNOW this and right now settling only perpetuates the lack of fulfillment and the feeling of missing the boat.

If you have been waiting to end a relationship or remove a person from your life who has caused you to suffer do it now. This includes the relationship with yourself – time to get real with you! It’s time to step into the authenticity of who you really are.

The Full Moon in Gemini is curious with an appetite for information. It has the ability to bring sudden awareness to our lives and a rather urgent feeling of needing-to-know.

You know the direction you need to go and you know what steps you need to take to move forward.

If you want to take action to harness this energy of any full moon, a simple ritual is to write what you want to release on a piece of paper and burn it.

Remembering that Gemini represents two halves because it’s the sign of twins, this particular moon I would recommend writing a letter to yourself, the half that you are ready to release. Go deep in the letter, write about the places in your life where you have let yourself down. Where have you been playing small? Are you still in some form of denial? Where are you not letting yourself let go?

Finally releasing what doesn’t serve you or that half of you you no longer need (and haven’t needed for a while now) is the only way to make you whole.

Burn your letters saying goodbye to what no longer serves you.

Charge your crystals!

…And trust the direction of the cosmos.
